Anticipated House Manifest

Anticipated Folders Module | Port Community System

Overview

The upcoming Anticipated Folders module in the Port Community system (PCS) will enable Customs Brokers and Forwarders to input House Bills of Lading into the PCS—either manually or via EDI—prior to the submission of the master manifest by the Shipping Agent. These entries will be stored in the relevant folders for easy access and retrieval.

When the master manifest is submitted, the PCS will attempt to automatically match the House Bills with the corresponding data. If the system cannot auto-associate the records, users will have the option to manually link them. This feature is designed to facilitate earlier document preparation and quicker clearance processes.
