Efficient booking system for terminal operators and trucking companies
The Customs module is fully integrated with the Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA) and operates as an Authorized Customs System under the Customs Act. It connects directly to ASYCUDA World to facilitate the secure exchange of customs related messages between stakeholders and the JCA.
The module supports electronic processing of declarations, manifest validation, customs release confirmation, and gate pass issuance in the form of a Gate out authorization (coming soon). It enables automated handling of routine customs procedures and reduces the need for physical interaction during clearance.
Importers and Exporters can view customs clearance updates directly through the PCS. This removes the need to contact Customs or visit physical locations for status updates.
Customs Brokers receive timely responses to declaration submissions and release notifications. This supports quicker processing and reduces delays in cargo handling.
Truckers and Terminal Operators can verify clearance status before dispatching or receiving containers. This helps prevent gate rejections and reduces wait times.
Jamaica Customs uses automated workflows to manage submissions and approvals. This reduces reliance on manual processing and strengthens oversight of cross-border trade activities.
