Streamlined electronic delivery order processing for efficient cargo release.
The Electronic Delivery Order (EIDO) module allows Shipping Lines and Agents to issue delivery orders digitally through the PCS once freight charges and related fees have been settled. Importers and Customs Brokers are notified in real time when a delivery order is available allowing them to begin the cargo clearance process without delay.
The module also supports the submission of electronic Bills of Lading for ownership transfers between Forwarders or to the final consignee. Original Bills of Lading may still be issued on request.
Importers and Customs Brokers receive instant notification once delivery orders are issued. This allows them to begin the clearance and pickup process immediately.
Shipping Lines and Agents can issue and manage delivery orders electronically. This eliminates manual processing and reduces administrative delays.
Terminal Operators can verify delivery order status through the PCS. This improves gate processing and supports faster cargo release.
Forwarders can electronically transfer ownership of shipments. This allows for accurate tracking of the cargo's final consignee and ensures proper documentation.
