Manifest submission and validation are now centralized through the Port Community System (PCS), with automatic distribution of approved data to all relevant stakeholders, streamlining the documentation process and improving accuracy across the trade community.
Officers now utilize electronic devices for their daily operations, enabling efficient mobile work capabilities and enhancing responsiveness across various points in the logistics chain.
Revenue collection has become more efficient through digital integration that bridges communication and transactions between stakeholders and the Jamaica Customs Agency, reducing delays and improving accuracy in financial processes.
Risk assessment has been significantly improved through the use of advanced analytics and access to real-time shipment information, allowing authorities to make more informed, proactive decisions in managing trade and security operations.
Transhipment orders can now be completed and distributed online, enabling faster processing and seamless coordination among the various stakeholders involved in cargo movement.
