Tracking and Tracing Module

About the Module

The Tracking and Tracing module provides real-time visibility of cargo as it progresses through the port and cargo clearance stages of the logistics chain. Users can access time-sensitive updates on shipment status, cargo location, documentation progress, and clearance activities via the PCS Portal or through subscription-based notifications. The module also stores a complete history of all manifested shipments to support audits and post-shipment reviews, which is accessible to authorized stakeholders.

Integrated System

It is integrated with processes managed by Shipping Agents, Jamaica Customs, Terminal Operators, and other key stakeholders. This integration enables the system to accurately reflect clearance status and confirm when all required authorizations have been issued, indicating that the cargo is cleared and ready for removal from the terminal.
